Sustainable Solutions
The Feature of Kyoto
Kyoto, which serves as our foundation, is an area where many listed companies, boasting advanced technology and a unique management style, and their suppliers are located, and it has built up a distinctive industrial structure. In particular, listed companies involved in industrial and business machines as well as electronic components and devices have attracted attention as “Kyoto companies,” and there are demands for these companies to respond to various issues such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the supply chain.
Meanwhile, small and medium-sized enterprises that fall under the Scope 3 emissions standard for listed companies may have difficulty carrying out specific measures. Therefore, we are promoting initiatives in collaboration with these listed companies in order to avoid negative impacts, such as being cut off from supply chains and situations that have a negative ripple effect on listed companies, while also creating positive effects through social and environmental initiatives that help the companies differentiate themselves.
Achieving Sustainability for the Community and Our Customers
We are now at the stage where initiatives to realize a sustainable society are being implemented throughout the entire community and supply chain. As a corporate group with close ties to the community, we are working to hold events in collaboration with local businesses and develop and provide products and services that are easy to use so that we cooperate with even more customers.
